A MUM was left horrified after her young child was woken up in the night by a creepy voice on her flash baby monitor.
Kitty O’Brien, 32, at first thought she was going mad when she heard a man’s gravelly tones booming in her son’s room.

The travel booking agent went to check on little Jenson, 18 months, after he began crying at around five in the morning.
As she was about to leave his room, a message came from her £380 Nanit Pro Camera system, which sounded like “hello”.
Stunned Kitty and husband John, of Evesham, Worcestershire, combed back over the device’s footage to investigate.
They found a voice had sounded through their system – and say it is not the first time it has happened.
Six months ago, the couple heard another more sinister tones on the system, which sounded like a wind-up call.
Kitty told The Sun: “I couldn’t believe my ears. When I listened back to it I realised what had happened. It’s horrible.
“I went in to settle Jenson early in the morning and as I walked out of the room I heard ‘hello’.
“It was 5am, I thought am I hearing something? John was almost snoring and flat out.
“When I played the camera back I realised where it had come from.
“Six months ago I heard something similar on the product’s app. I could hear ‘hello, can you hear me’?
“I was quite shaken by it. It’s supposed to be really secure. My husband and I are pretty upset and angry.”
The “cutting-edge” Nanit system allows parents to watch their young ones through a smartphone app.
It is meant to be among the most secure of baby monitoring products.
Nanit say the strange sounds are due to glitches in its system – and are not linked in any way to hacking.
The company says it checked its IT system and no hack had taken place – but admitted its device’s are prone to picking up rogue signals including voices.
According to the firm’s website, “these cases are hard to eliminate completely but we are constantly improving our firmware and upload improved versions several times a year”.
