A NEW mum suffering from postpartum hair loss has revealed what she did to finally make her locks grow back.
While postpartum hair loss is a common side effect of pregnancy, with nearly half of all mothers experiencing it, many women feel insecure about it and will do anything to get their hair back.

Four to five months after giving birth, their hair will shed at an alarming rate, and it can be worrying.
Our hair grows in cycles: a growing phase, a resting phase, and a shedding phase that continues to repeat.
But during pregnancy, most of the hair stays in the growth phase due to those big changes in your body’s hormones.
Once your baby arrives and your hormones begin to change again, the level of estrogen falls, causing your thick head of pregnancy hair to begin the shedding phase.
Because so much of your hair sheds all at once, the volume of hair loss seems far more substantial.
And one mum struggling with that exact problem has revealed how she got her hair to grow out again in just one month.
Taking to the Facebook group, Hair Thinning/Loss Solutions, which boasts 26k members, the anonymous woman shared her tips.
She said: “Hello all, I have to share what has worked for me. So I’ve been struggling with postpartum hair loss.
“My baby is 7 months old. My hair started falling last October and my blood work came back fine even iron levels were ok.”
While her bloodwork was coming back fine, she was eager to speed up the process of growing her hair back and showed off the incredible results.
The picture shows her hair at the start of the year – where the temples of her head had bald patches due to the hair loss.
But in a month, she had inches of new growth come through, thanks to her 5-second hack.
She said she first started Biotin and vitamin D every day but failed to see results so she switched up the vitamins she was using.
The mum began to take supplements of vitamin A, vitamin D and vitamin E together twice a week for a month and was stunned by the results.
Hair loss tips
We can lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, according to the NHS.
It is not usually something to worry about, but occasional it can be a sign of a medical concern.
These include illness, stress, cancer treatment, weight loss and iron deficiency.
The NHS advises to book an appointment with your GP to see if you can get to the cause of it.
Experts at American Academy of Dermatology Association also recommend to eat healthy, limit curling irons and only use them for special occasions.
They also recommend using a gentle shampoo, and make use of leave-in conditioners.
She continued: “So I started taking biotin and vitamin D every day… nothing was happening.
“And at the beginning of January, I started taking vitamin A (10 000iu), D (1000iu) and E (200iu) together twice a week and OMG what a difference.
“The first pic is from February 7th and the second from January 8th! I am so happy with the difference.
“My hair is still falling but not as much and definitely growing back!! I hope this helps someone else.”
The simple remedy, which takes just 5-seconds to complete is also cost effective.
You can pick up a multivitamin in tablet form, which includes the vitamins A, C and E for just £5.20.
Selenium tablets help protect cells from oxidative stress.
Selenium also helps support healthy hair and nails, while vitamins C and A support healthy skin.
Vitamin A contributes to maintaining normal skin.
While there, you can also pick up Vitamin D ones for £4 which can help promote hair follicle growth.
