FORMER First Minister Humza Yousaf has welcomed a new addition to the family with the birth of a baby girl.
The ex-SNP leader, 39, posted adorable snaps on Instagram after his wife Nadia El-Nakla gave birth to their second child Liyana Jenin Yousaf.

The former First Minister said “mum and baby are doing well” after she was born two days ago.
It comes four months after Mr Yousaf announced the news that they were expecting another child after four previous miscarriages.
And in the post this evening, he said his newborn daughter has “become our world” even though she is “only two days old”.
And he added that he is now looking forward to the “sleepless nights” to come.
In the touching post, Mr Yousaf wrote: “Welcome to the world Liyana Jenin Yousaf. You are only two days old, yet you have become our world.
“Mum and baby are doing well. Amal is super excited at becoming a big sister, and Maya is very happy to be the head of our girl gang.

“We give thanks to God for blessing our family with a new addition, and ask for your good wishes and prayers.
“Let the sleepless nights commence!”
Followers quickly flocked to the post to share their congratulations with the couple.
One person said: “Aw I love her name… Congratulations”.
Another added: “Welcome Liyana!!”
Someone else wrote: “Beautiful news – huge congratulations to you all”.
And a fourth commented: “Wishing you all the best for you and your family!”
While a fifth chimed in: “Many, many congratulations to you and your whole family! P.S. What a beautiful name!!”
The couple already share four-year-old daughter Amal together and Mr Yousaf is also the stepdad to Nadia’s 14-year-old daughter Maya.
He released a statement back in March after announcing that Nadia was pregnant for the third time.
MISCARRIAGE ORDEAL

THE birth of Mr Yousaf and Nadia's baby girl comes after the couple opened up about their miscarriage hell last year.
And it inspired Mr Yousaf to vow to overhaul NHS support for pregnant women.
The couple tragically lost two babies before Nadia gave birth to Amal, and then another two after she was born when Nadia began to bleed heavily during her pregnancies.
Mr Yousaf married Nadia – his second wife – five years ago and had just about given up on having children when the couple fell pregnant for the third time.
And the family went through hell as Nadia’s family rushed to escape the conflict in Gaza in October.
Their baby news follows the announcement by SNP economy secretary, Mairi McAllan, that she was expecting a baby, also due in the summer.
It read: “Nadia and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting a new addition to our family in July.
“We want to thank the early pregnancy unit at Ninewells Hospital who have provided wonderful support to Nadia and our family through the early stages of her pregnancy.
“We are incredibly grateful for the love that we have received from our family and friends upon sharing our news with them.
“Our daughters, Maya and Amal, are both very excited to meet the new baby”.
